| Quote: wigan pie man "hey..not getting at you personally, getting at others who dont go.
money is tight, i agree, thats why i pay per game, plus the fact (which ive mentioned before) that i cant go to early season games in the cold due to a lung /chest condition.....so i would actually lose money buying a season ticket.
i DO AGREE that season ticket holders should have priority over the "not been all season, but im going to the final" fans/bandwagoners/glory hunters.
But there should also be a means to give priority to fans who have been to knockout games over the glory supporters.
i think its something the club could be looking into implementing ...shouldnt be too difficult to work out a scheme'"
Totally agree, I personally am a season ticket holder but my GF isn't, we both attend 99% of home and away games as well as play offs, challenge cup matches & finals which is I would guess, a lot more matches than some season ticket holders attend. Although it is understandable that season ticket holders get priority, I also find it a little irritating that in some instances to get seats together we have to wait for general sale when we both regualrly attend most matches. There should definitely be some sort of scheme to benefit regular attendees that aren't season ticket holders, possibly a reward card or something similar which allows supporters who have attended 'X' amount of matches to get priority over as you said glory hunters and bandwagoners!!

| Quote: Wandering Warrior "Well if you book tickets online it has a log of all tickets purchased so that could help with the priority thing. Season ticket holders then maybe people who have been to 10-15 games or more? It would stop billy bandwaggoners getting tickets for big games and nothing else.
The tickets should be cheaper for everyone for the playoff games to be fair but thats down to the RFL not Wigan.'"
Hudds prices for the Leeds game:
£15 for adults, £10 for concessions, Children aged 12-16 £5, Under 12's FREE OF CHARGE
Wigan prices for the Catalans game:
Same as every other week
How are they set by the RFL!?

The prices arent set by the RFL but from what i was told we arent allowed to offer reductions as all the playoff ticket money goes into a pool to be shared out afterwards. I dunno what Hudds usual prices are? Maybe their club has offered to cover the £50 difference in ticket revenue? Maybe what i was told was bol**ks
I would love to know the real answer

Spot on,I buy 3 STs every year, away games Wembley and now play~offs take their toll on the deepest pockets.

| My missus' is a season ticket holder in the East stand, but after the deathly silence last Sunday we'll be going in the South stand for Cats. There's more atmosphere in mi front room watching the video.

| They should close the West and North stands for this fixture - at least then the cameras will not be showing even more empty seats.

Surely the North will be shut, Cats aren't going to bring anyone are they! The west wont be due to hospitality seats.

29281_1270406980.jpg When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

Just for clarity Matt, who has set the prices for the matches, Wigan or the RFL?

| This is what he PM'd me last weekBelieve it's a balance between the two - the RFL are happy for clubs to operate with their normal pricing policies (hence why Wire are more expensive) but this season they aren't keen on any discounts on normal prices apart from the family tickets (which they push for every play offs).
I still think its a massive own goal to charge "normal" prices for fixtures that are over and above the regular season. We should be looking to attract people, not give them a reason not to attend. 500 family tickets is a start, but what about the childless couples, the OAPs and the single people, many of whom have taken a pay cut this year - what are the club and/or the RFL doing to get them down to the game?

Agreed between the two was my understanding but I've got absolutely no idea how Huddersfield have been allowed to reduce their prices so much when it seems literally every other game has been at normal prices. Know nowt more than that!
