| Went down to the stadium at 6pm to see what the crack was with the trains - walked straight up to the windows, by the way - as above, 7.38am departure, four hour ride to Wembley Central (not Stadium, as had originally been stated), £51.50 for season ticket holders.
Ended up coming back home and going for a much less straightforward route that basically involves driving down to Crewe in the morning and getting a slow train from there to London. Probably won't save much in terms of time, but it's only £15 return for the train bit of it, so with two of us going down it'll save a few quid over the official option (which you're supposedly not allowed alcohol on anyway).

| If anybody wants to break the travel up, we have a 33 seater coach leaving Banbury at about 10am and returning from Wembley at 6pm.
There are still 12 places left on it, the current price is £20 each, but will come down if more people fill it. Banbury is about an hour and half from Wembley.
If anybody would be interested please send me a P M and I will give you some more info.

| Quote: wigan pie man "Mayfair are still ironing out the details.
it'll leave between 8 and 8-30 and go direct to wembley.
hes still trying to get wembley stadium station, but if not its wembley central..15 minute walk.
arrives wembley between half 11 and 12............leaves at 6.
i think its independant of the club one tbh......and proper details will only be known by mayfair early next week...
That's what I was told when I rang Mayfair, however, he'll do well to get the train to Wembley Stadium station as that line is closed for engineering work & from memory Wembley Central is only a small station with short platforms that can't accommodate full length trains . In the past passengers at the back of the train had to walk to the front four carriages to alight which is a bit of pain as the charter train will probably be about nine carriages long

| Anyone got any suggestions on where to park, just checked the main car parks around the ground and they're all quite pricey?
