M62 was not closed always busy around 5pm but kick off 8pm, 45mins from jnc 20 on a good day, poor support full stop.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

I agree. Leeds and Wigan have traditionally been the 2 biggest RL clubs with the largest attendances but there is a world of difference between the amount of fans that the 2 clubs take to away games. |

there was approx 400 Leeds fans in the ground but there was a further 600 in and around our town centre selling the Big Issue.

Embarrassing, and they crack on like they are the biggest club in SL, we would and always have, have taken at least 2k to there place if it was the other way round. They'll all be jumping off the Leeds band waggon soon as the future looks very dark at Leeds.
And before any Wigan obsessed Whinos say "everyone's on the Wigan band waggon because we are champions", take a look back a few seasons, we averaged 14-15k whilst in a relegation battle.
