We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47035.gif

Surely shome mishtake.

Although it does show what a duffer the coach is not to have a replacement already in the squad. The exiles are whittling their squad down, macca is still running around looking for players.

Any chance he will not play with Wilkin, Lockers and Sinfield

He's only English now he's good enough, see Danny Brough. He might even be Irish again when he isn't good enough anymore, see Barrie McDermott.

I find the chopping and changing of nationalities very amusing, especially as it is always draws a direct correlation to how good a player is.

Quote: Coventry Warrior! "That goes without saying.

But why don't they drop the MM weekend and have this game on a weekend on its own. Instead of the clubs who bring through homegrown talent being punished by having to make up the talent for a league fixture 48 hours later.

I think luckily for us Castleford are in poor form anyway and could be missing Rangi Chase, but I'd rather none of our players played in this game and concentrated on the league game. England will get beaten anyway and made to look inept once again!'"

Spot on that mate. Why not move the England v Exiles game around. Play it on the May bank holiday weekend. Fans got time to get there. Also, doing it in areas where there may be alot of kiwis and aussies i.e London would be a great idea.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled. For 27 - 0 you get a trophy For 75 - 0 you get sod all. Wigan had eight in a row Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg

Play it on the May Bank holiday weekend and scrap the magic games.

Make it an International festival,

England v France at U15 and U16 and U18.
England Knights v France
England v Exiles.

Maybe Army v Navy as well.

Dan Sarginson: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition" 18/10/2013 Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013 Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. BTW, MM is English, it was a grandparent link that made him eligible for Ireland.

The annual Yawnion version of that is a massive event. Crowds anywhere from 40-60k. A League version marketed well could be a significant hit I think.

Wouldn't want us to give free tickets away to just ANYONE remotely connected to the armed forces though.
Help for Heroes offers should be continued but we aren't the RFU so we can't afford to handout upwards of 30,000 freebies for any game.

Danny Brough played for and captained Scotland in the World Cup. Decided atfer that he was too good and wanted to play for England. England said no thanks so Scotland took him back. A few good games for the Giants and once again he is too good for us and wants to play for England . Mr Bannana thinks "that might be a good idea" and picks him.

Danny Brough out injured (REALLY GUTTED FOR THE LAD). Pity it would have been interesting to see him and Kevin (it's ma ball) Sinfield fighting with each other to see who takes the kicks on the sixth tackle .

International selection system a complete and utter farce . a026.gif a026.gif

Wonder how many Welsh players England pick for the 4 nations ? icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

I understand it perfectly, the lad is English and due to his form over the last couple of years and an injury to our first choice hooker he has an opportunity to play for his country and he has taken it, before that he qualified to play for Ireland and as he wasn't selected to play for England he opted to play for Ireland. Can you blame him? Its all within the rules.

I have no issue with him what so ever and I don't think anyone else does. I'd do exactly the same thing. What I do have issues with, are the rules of the game. I do believe that you pick your country and stick with it. This weakens Ireland considerably just to cover an injury in the English team.

This is an argument for another day though.

good luck to MM icon_thumb.gif

Just on a side note not sure wether its been previously discussed but assuming both start I wonder who the Exiles kicker will be Richards or Hodgson both top class kickers any thoughts.

I have 2 words to sum up the England V Exiles game.......................WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!

Absoulute waste of time, money, advertisment and the risk of teams key players getting injured, it will never take off, nor will it ever get taken seriously by any supporter, just like the Lancashire v Yorkshire.
