I'd be all for moving the Ken Gee Cup around different grounds every year.
1 year at IRB, next at St Pats, year after St Judes etc etc
IRB must make a killing come KGC time.

| Places like Hindley and Spring View also have the facilities to host it, more so than at St Judes where you can walk to the pitch from all angles.
Not sure why it is always at Bridge and neither are most people I speak to about it. Nothing against them but it is strange.

maybe its something to do with the fact that the ground is enclosed and there are only 2 ways in.....both lockable........other grounds every tom , dick and harry can walk on without paying.......plus they are open for dogs to run on the pitch. I think in my years of watching at these grounds round wigan IRB is the only place i havnt seen dog muck on the pitch.....except when they use Willy Fosters
having said that ..nowhere can be as bad as waterhead.......there were cows t!ng on the pitch before the game........

| They should host it at Wigan St Cuthberts. A closed off venue with good facilities and most importantly it's only 5-10 mins walk from my house!

| Here's a shout that may or may not be welcome.... How about it being played at Wigan RUFC! Superb facilities up there, the pitches are immaculate and the access is restricted to one way in, one way out! Unless you fancy a trek through the plantations!!

Are you sure?
Mini Rogue was in the gym yesterday morning and said that he had seen Shaun Edwards lookalike in there. I wonder if it really was him?

O/T but that brings back many memories, use to muck around there as a kid. When The Verve played at Haigh Hall we sneaked in via that route, Richard Ashcroft passed us as he was being driven in and we hid in a bush

| Think Ashton beat hindley a 38-10.
We lost v Judes, 48-18.
A bridge to far for us, judes are a quality outfit and we were short of ten first teamers due to a stag do.....we weren't allowed to rearrange. We started with 15 men, managed get another sub in the second half.
Judes were excellent though and executed well no excuses from me at full strength I think judes would have beaten us in that form, thought little baz and pengy were excellent and very dangerous, no.8 ran the ball in all day, it was a good clean game.
I enjoyed it but I'm suffering abit today!!
