Yeah I was. Sorry, wrong Aussie. The board is buzzing too thick and fast for my liking (well that's my excuse)!

Easy to do, I suspect they are heading to the same place anyway.

| Perhaps we don't need a new back rower, but his experience needs replacing. Especially with Carmont, Coley and Deacon expected to leave too (in addition to Gleeson having left). We've a young enough side as it is.

From a distance, it did look like a walk-in. He had a good game overall, I thought, back to normal after last week's blip.

From an experience point of view I think we need to looks at keeping at least 2 of those 3 players you mention on. If Gleeson had still been around i'd have had no problem with Carmont going home but I think we need to try and keep him on and Deacon can do the job he does for us for another couple of years imo. As for Coley he's been superb for us and his experience is so valuble to us. He'd be hard to replace from this country so again i'd probably be looking at keeping him on unless an obvious replacment comes up.
We can't afford a raft of experienced heads to follow our coach out of the door or else we'll run the risk of Wane having to re-build a side that at the moment is in place.

Nothing definitive, but I'm under the impression this is Andy Coley's, Paul Deacon's and George Carmont's last year at Wigan. I would love to keep all three.

Lenagan has admitted as much with Carmont but that was before Gleeson got binned so he may be more prepared to try and talk Carmont out of it.
As for Deacon the way he plays the game just makes room for others and it's so simple but effective. I think he could honestly go on for another 2 or 3 seasons playing that role aslong as his body will hold up.
Coley is the one I really worry will hang the boots up and that would be a blow. He's still got some miles in him imo and he's a real leader. He would be hard to replace and even if it means cutting back his workload and giving him more rest i'd keep him on.
To lose all 3 aswell as Hoffman and Gleeson already gone would be pretty much a disaster imo.
