the ability and class that you had over the last 8yrs was obviously evident in the last 10mins of the game wasn't it. We played terrible, Leeds played the best they have all season and yet.....we still come away with a point, so its quite obvious that and i quote (with a small amendment) "we showed the teamspirit, ability and class that has been the bedrock of our team over the last 12 months or so.

Over the full 80, point lost.
Outscored them 5 tries to 4, and only failed to win because we had our 4th choice goalkicker out there.
Yeah, they bossed most of the game, but it's played over 80 minutes, not 70.

How many trys did Leeds have chalked off for forward passes or by the Video ref? 5 or 6 IIRC.

That speaks volumes.
Idiot sheep-shaggers will talk about 4 tries disallowed, yet didn't talk about 3 Wigan tries diallowed last week .
Leeds played their guts out and Wigan were awful, but in the end Wigan almost snooked it.
Not a brilliant performance from the lads. There are clearly still problems. But Leeds Rhinos ain't one of them.  |
