Presume you were at the game? If referees can't control the game and bin players for repeated high shots then it boils over. Not condoning Joel leading with the elbow mind, that was plain stupid.

Congratulations on beating a hull side with only 1 win in 5, at home by 2 points!!! Yeah what a win that is. Good one forrest gump. :S
are you on beak Dave? when somebody lifts up there elbow and smashes it in an opponents face as described on the radio of course it's thuggery. He'll get a lengthy ban for that. coward

Yes but he's a Leeds fan, let them worry about trying to make the top 8

| Scrappy performance.
Positives - Charnley looks completely assured and at home in the first team. Marsh was steady defensively didnt really have opportunity to make impact going forward.

| Really enjoyed that, not seen a match like that in ages!
Thought we lost it in attack but we did really well to come back and win it especially with 12 men! Joel was f00king stupid he deserves a 3 match ban for that. BUT Ganson should have sinbinned both him and whoever it was he was fighting with 20 seconds before, bottled it big time.
Sam T & O'Loughlin won it for us today.

You come out with some crackers don't you? I presume you must be a Cas fan, because if you were a fan of a team that was doing worse than Wigan you surely wouldn't spout such nonsense would you petal?
If you read my post you'll see I did not condone the elbow from Joel, miss that did you? The poster I was responding to did not mention the elbow did he? So I responded that throughout the game there was high shots and punches that should have warranted a yellow. Does that mean I'm on drugs? You have posted the same cr4p on two threads on the Wigan board, want me to give you one of my old shirts mate?

| Number of points to go into today but you can't fault the lads for digging in and showing the required bottle that champion-quality squads have.
Injuries
Deacon got himself in the wrong position for a tackle and ended up splitting his head open, covered in blood and apparently has gone to hospital to get everything sorted. It is a concern tho with no backs on the bench, his injury record is now appalling and I worry for his health if he continues, he can't take the knocks these days
Mossop came off with his arm hanging so looked like the shoulder has gone again.
Ganson
Didn't protect Sam at all, some serious foul play towards him that wasn't dealt with sufficiently and meant open season for the thuggery to follow. Didn't see how the Joel/Yeaman thing started but Joel was getting a right pasting and did well to land a few back. Can the ref sin-bin for scrapping? If so they should've both gone but to then give Joel the ball was stupid, 5 mins after the adrenaline rush, the game had calmed down so he should've been subbed for his own good. Ganson was the only person to see that penalty at the end and I'm glad he didn't steal the limelight.
Very happy to get the win because we were awful with our attack until Locky got hold of the ball towards the end. Jeff Lima was poor, McIlorum poor with the ball as usual but he never lets us down in defence, not starting 9 material for me though. Special mention for Charnley, by far the superior player out of him and Marsh and did everything asked of him, kick returns straight and hard and finished his tries, well done son!

sorry mate, but sam's a big enough boy and gives as good as he gets. you sound like flaming wenger begging for protection for his players, yet they dont half give it out to everyone else.

Dont think he did much atall today, Hull cut him off at the back numerous times and he didnt have a big impact on the game. Lockers didnt have he's best game but i'd agree he won us the game with his long passes.
We miss Lockers massively in attack when he has to move to stand-off and play a more structured role. He along with Sam are our to biggest attacking weapons playing of Tommy and Deacon at first receiver.

Fully agree. How that Willie Manu stayed on I'll never know.
That sending off was completely the fault of Ganson who lost his Gonads today.

I think you'll find they're not lost, only on loan from Sky when the cameras are in town...

| Thanks for your input. Sam brings a lot of it on himself but there's no excuse for smashing him late when the tackle has already been made. No place for foul play, it's a tough enough game without players throwing elbows and punches at each other.
