| I was at the game at Eden Park when England beat Papua New Guinea in the 4 Nations. If memory serves Clubb scored 4 tries in that game and played very well! I know this was against Papua New Guinea and not Aus/NZ but he still looked half decent. Can't say I've seen too much of him at Quins tho to really comment on him but based on that one game I'd say we could do worse!

He missed more tackles than any other player last season with 92. The closest centre to that number was Kris Welham (who also doubles as one of Craven Park's turnstiles) who missed 59. I know Quins were poor last season, but that would definitely make me think twice about signing him.

All those years of pain were worth it for that and setting up Tommy's try at Bradford in the playoffs.

Not to mention the break in that crucial Leeds away game in 2006.
He may have been a big disappointment overall but there will still glimpses of brilliance that told you he was once a quality player.

Like the try he scored against Bradford in one of his first home games in 2005.
Still can't work out how he managed to ground that ball!

| Quote: Wigan/Leeds Andy "Missed more tackles than any other players in SL last season - no thanks.'" ...Oh, go on...please take him. I am sure his defensive frailties can be coached out of him at a club like yours.......please...go on....Ian Lenegan owes us
....Hmmm, as I have alluded to above, I agree that he isn't "all that".....but I would suggest that the last 2 players to score 4 tries in a game for England both did so against lesser opposition........yet one of them you will have creamed your pants over. He isn't hyped because he's from London......he is hyped because he is a Young English Prospect. We have had a few overhyped Young English Prospects in the past........not all of them are from down south
.....anyway......as I was saying, Ian Lenegan owes us and he really is a good defensive centre...he would be a good buy for you IMO....remember dennis moran

Fair point, from ten yards off the opposition try line DV was a massive threat out wide due to his strength. In his first few games for Wigan he looked immense and i thought we had signed a belter!
Unfortunatley his speed over distance was destroyed by the injury sustained at Paramatta.
Last i heard he was playing Rugby Union in France...

| Last I hear DV was sent to prison by a military court for a crime he didn't commit he promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, he survives as a soldiera of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire DV (can anyone actually spell his name?!)
also would that be libelous? I dont want any idiots actually thinking I truly mean he was sent to prison lol
