Neutral - where might that be, South Africa, European mainland, Asia or with an hours drive from the British club's home

As the Aussies would laugh if they played it at shed at Knowsley road, this is the reason they played it at a neutral venue. I'm sure it wasn't Wigan decision to play it at DW... Anyway it was played at a neutral ground the PremierShips Wigan Latics Stadium. Maybe what they wanted but I can't see it being their decision.
I agree that the Aussies have flown 24 hours across the world to play in cold weather, in front of a BIG Wigan crowd at Wigan's home ground so would of been harder for them... But they are paid professionals it shouldnt matter how far they have travelled, where the game is at etc...

| You fly thousand of miles and then have to go to Knowsley road to play. They'll think they were on a time machine not a plane, jumping gigawatts.
Wigans ground is a modern stadia of decent capacity, that's the reason they played it there.

Only a bit of banter, from a Wire fan or even a Saints/Leigh fan you have to expect it.

No, British club playing at someone else's ground = neutral ground. It's really not that hard is it?

Everything against the Dragons? Don't be silly. Fielden out injured, Lima banned and Wigan losing Gleeson early was very much to their advantage. That was a young Wigan team out in the pack there with Mossop and Tuson in the front row and they were reduced to professional fouls at the end to hold out. They are a quality side but to say everything was against them is simply not the case.

The Communist Cap - dragging down success and aspiration to the levels of those who cba.: |
|
| Wasn't unlucky at all. Best team won. No problems with that.
Gleeson wasn't fit. No coincidence that their tries came on his side. Also when JT was covering centre (which he did to the best of his ability) we looked very very weak. Couple this with 4 forwards (and not for the first time in MM's time at Wigan- WHY? especially with a known doubt over Gleeson??) on the bench, and we looked short in the backs.
Speaking of which I would have questioned whether Roberts was actually on the field were it not for his idiotic pass late on. Seriously for every decent game this guy has, he has 2 or 3 stinkers. I look forward to the day that he is out of contract and leaves.
The St George defence shows us where we need to be. Totally professional. One kick chase of theirs late in the game was a joy to watch.
A little disappointed with the result, but a good game and the best team won. Certainly not "unlucky".

So youre trying to say we should of had Charnley on the bench or which other back ? Charnley and Goulding up against Cooper and Morris for over half a match ?
You seriously think they would of done better than Joel partnering Goulding ?

Yes.
JT is not a centre. He hasn't got the pace or technique. He did very very well covering, and I applaud his effort and application but he is a back rower.
Not to have had cover for a back on the bench, knowing full well that the Gleeson had a problem was madness.
