He's way better than Tansey, I think he'll be a very good signing for you. He's a decent half back, too, so will be able to take over when Longy falls apart again.

| Astonished it has taken so long for another club to snap him up, he'll do well for you guys over in Hull and you will probably end up being pleased that Tansey was a bad lad. Best of luck to him - a very good all round player

Which, unfortunatly for us, is a bog standard quotation.
Must say I am glad we signed him, and hope he does the biz for us.

| He's a cracking player, I would have loved for us to have kept him but he would have only been keeping out one of our young lads.
He was playing some brilliant rugby at the start of last season until he got injured, then never really seemed to be able to break back into the team. I'm sure he'll do really well for you!

| Congrats to Cam on finding a club. He is much better than many who seemingly find one without difficulty so, like most, I'm amazed it's taken the sacking of Tansey (who isn't fit to lace his boots either as a player or, more particularly, as a professional) to get snapped up. I'm sure Hull will be happy with him as a club man and as an improvement over the last incumbant!

Without doubt a positive move for Hull FC, he will bring a professional attitude with him and he can cover a number of poisitions.

A bit overated judging from the responses on here. At full back he's very dangerous in attack but pretty poor in defence, seemed to shy away from the tackle too much for me (search Eagles TV - Wigan Warriors highlights in utube for a perfect example of why I'm not a massive fan), very injury prone too. I've always wanted to see how he would go at full back, with more attacking opportunities and less defensive responsibilities. He could prove a revelation at 6.

| Chuffed he has found a club!
He was a weird signing in 2008, came out of no where really but he has been really good IMO. If he hadn't got injured at the start of 2010 he would have been our FB all year IMO, he was creating tries constantly!

| Quote: DaveO "Gives 100% but I think people have a bit of a rosey eyed view of his abilities - because he gives 100%.
He didn't figure much last season after getting injured early on (and didn't do a great deal before that either) and he does get injured quite a bit due to the over committed way he goes into tackles. He is definitely a player who survives on effort over ability and the effort he puts in is IMO why fans tend to like him and perhaps why his faults tend to be overlooked.
Will be interesting to see how he goes at Hull.'"
That sums him up for me. He had 1.5 good games at the start of last season, with more poor/average games when he came back after his injury. He is a journeyman player and I cant see him improving Hull to be honest. However I am sure he will kiss the Hull badge in his first game and be loved for ever after by some
