George is probably my favourite player in the current squad. He does loads of work in both attack and defense; but he also does a lot of organisation of the side in defense that is missed by sky's trained chimps.

He doesn't get the attention in the press like some other players, however I wouldn't swap him for any other centre in SL. He is tough without being a thug (unlike a player who was basically his b!tch last night); always puts in 100%, even when he is injured and is a complete team player.

Considering what he (supposedly) costs us; I would say that he is the best value for money in the league by a country mile. I'm really pleased that he should be with us again next year.

His performance last night was fantastic. He completely owned Delaney and time after time when Leeds threatened in the right corner, he was the one that tackled man and ball to stop the danger.

Was my man of the match hands down.

pretty good considering he's been playing all season on one leg. I think we can get 2 seasons out of him as he only came to RL relatively late in life

Carmont was very good last night, particularly his defense which has always been his biggest weakness.

What a performance from him last night, especially second half when he lifted his defence to another level. He's been a great player for us since he arrived and is a great bloke as well.

I remember speaking to him just after the squad had returned to pre season training and he said it was really tough but how much he was enjoying it. I asked him how he thought we would fare this season and he was really confident we could go all the way.

Well one more to go now, lets hope the lads can finish the job and can complete a memorable season.

Simple fact; Carmont is a true centre - unlike times in the past when we have played players in the centres who were not. He has been an excellent signing for Wigan, we now have two very good centres who know how to play and can both defend well - it is no wonder the wingeres have scored so many tries.

I was just thinking the same myself and we have two true centres in the side at the moment and while people worry if we will have a true no 9 next season I think we are going to struggle to replace both Carmont and Gleeson with players of equal ability and both may well need replacing at the same time.
