| As a Wigan fan first & a England / GB fan second I hope Stuart turns his back on international rugby and focuses on his Wigan career. I know it would be a big honour for him to play rep footy again but we need a full fit Fielden for next season.
As for Mason the guy is a joke and has been since he knocked big Stu out. He won't last 5 mins in Hull. The only reason he has come to hull is because on the $$$ and Fitz & O'Meely are over there. He will be back in Oz quicker than you can say Matt Orford.

He really isn't in the form of his life.
Played very well though and good to see another decent prop option fro England.

| Stuart Fielden 2010 has been awesome. He's looking like he did when he was the worlds best - proved by interest from several NRL clubs this season.
Macca must pick Fielden for England. There's more reasons to pick him than not too - and TBH I cannot think of a reason why he wouldn't be picked.
I for one am overjoyed that he is proving all his doubters, all the people who wrote him off wrong.

He is. I've slated him a few times during his time at Wigan but his form this year under MM has been outstanding and IMO he is the best prop in the league at this current time. The new two year contract is an added bonus.

The form of his life was 5 years ago, although to be fair, the few times I have seen him this season, it looks like he has regained his appetite for the game, and that must be good for England.

Think a new coach will have a lot to do with it. This isn't slagging noble off, but if you've spent near enough your entire career under a coach who treats you as his favourite, your going to get comfortable and lose a bit of an edge.

The form of his life was during his Bradfiord days. You know the whole alphabet of rugby league....from A to B!

| Fielden is on top form and should be selected for the Four Nations squad but I honestly can't see it. I can see McNamara continuing Smith's policy from last season of blooding fresh players and that means we won't see places for guys like Fielden and Gleeson which is a shame because both deserve a place in the squad.
Aslong as Fielden continues his top form for us for another 2 weeks it doesn't really concern me too much what happens with his England selection anyway.

| In general over the last season or so, from outside looking in, Coley's been your best man up front, but Fielden's definately been improving and had a great game against KR.
4 nations? Well, assuming Morley and Graham are two of your props and Burgess plays back row then imo he has the following people to get past.
Carvell - big reputation has dissapointed me too many times when I've seen him of late.
Lynch - I'm a big fan, consistanly plays well for bradford, which atm is a pretty stern task.
Crabtree - I've hardly seen him this campaign but impressed me in the internationals last year.
Harrison and Watts - the young guns getting some press. Both impress me and can cover both prop and back row.
The extent of his coaching is ''BASH EM, JUST F*CKING BASH EM. HE'S LOW ON CONFIDENCE, BASH HIM''
He's a limited coach that won't last long term.[/quote:8f22o6ue]
....
That would make Wigan strong favourites then. With Ratchford at FB and Patton with Cronk in the halves, I think we'll do very well without Sam.[/quote:8f22o6ue]: |

| On current form carvell isnt fit to play superleague, let alone for england.
If carvell was to get in the squad that would confirm to me that the future of english rugby league is in serious trouble with this moron in charge.
On last seasons form then yes, but since his injury he has been awful.
