I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

I can certainly see why Madge likes him so much. Athletic, defensively sound and offensively improving all the time.

Why would Goulding be dropped? Surely it would be Deacon who got dropped. Amos to 1, Sam to 6 and TL to 7.

Do you think Deacon deserves to be dropped for him? I dont. We look much more organised with him on the field.

If/when he gets back to his pre-injury form, definitely. Probably not yet, though. He did OK in the reserves game tonight, but still looks hesitant when running/stepping.

| I don't want to see Amos back unless absolutely necessary. One of the reasons we lost to Warrington and Saints was that we rushed him back and he didn't perform. As has been said we look a lot more organised with Deacon on, this takes pressure off Sam and allows him to impose himself on the game when he wants and gives him more opportunity to run in broken play where he really excels.
As for the team on Sunday I'd say Tuson and Marsh to drop out and a professional performance should see us win by 20.

I just think the sum of the parts of Roberts, Sam, TL is greater than Sam, TL, Deacon.
If Roberts was 100% I think it's a no brainer we are better with my preferred set up. From what Geoff says it appears Roberts is still not ready so its a moot point but I think we are weaker without him because despite Deacon's superior kicking game I don't think that would get him n the side over the others.

| As the old saying goes if it aint broke don't fix it simple as that Roberts isn't in the team for the simple reason that the current side is getting the job done. Other than the odd change here and there mainly in the Forwards things have stayed the same and rightly so. As for Sunday according to Madge on the match preview video he states that Feka was carrying a slight knock perhaps thats the reason its between him and Hansen for the 17th place. I personally don't expect to see Hansen to play this week perhaps next week or two weeks dependent on the result. I'd like to think that Madge will try to take advantage of Leeds' Forwards minus Peacock, Burgess & JJB to try get on top in this area which is where this game should be won/lost like most games are.

The reason he isnt dropped is because he doesnt deserve to be dropped. His work rate is first class and he does a load of tackling for the minutes he plays.

| I don't agree with playing hansen over feka, we need to go with 4 props. we lost at leeds with 3 props, we lost against warrington with 3 props! Im sure we've lost when we have had mossop as 4th prop. We need to go into the game with 4 frontline props. We need to use our advantage in the front row and hammer at a leeds pack minus peacock, burgess and jamie jones buchanan.

Got to agree with that, especially if we have 2 props on the bench.
Have a horrible feeling that a contentious decision is going to have a bearing on the game tomorrow and with the Wire fan on VR duty, I'm guessing it'll go against us! Just hope we're in a good enough position when it arises for it not to cost us the game!

| H is certainly big enough to play a role as our 4th prop. He has put a lot of size on this year. I think Madge will opt for h as he is a lot more effective in Defence yet can still be very strong in attack
