westwood got a 1 match ban for something that nobody seen or was penalised for but had warnings on record.thats the way it goes just get on with it. happens at all clubs some fans just dont keep making a issue out of it.

There was no malice in the tackle whatsoever, defo a penalty, maybe just maybe with a pedantic ref it warranted a yellow and that was it.

Red card and a 2 match ban is pathetic, it's not tiddlywinks.

And plenty of fans at all clubs do make an issue of it so what's your point? That you agree with the punishments the RFL dish out 100% of the time? That they are always right?

It's pot luck who gets what ban (or banned at all), sent off or even put on report.

Morley must have one of the worst disciplinary records ever (especially in the NRL), so should it be an automatic ban whenever he appears in front of the committee going by the ruling this week, dont think so

as a side issue I posted on the wire site previously that Morley is a fantastic player and respected by all, but at the same time he aint no angel

He deserved a red card and a one match ban imo like I said on the other thread, not maybe a yellow like "post" said though.

Dont really see your point about Morley and Carvell just sounds like more crying, alot of Wigan fans have taken it well some of you sound like babies though.

Agree. In fact we lose Coley but potentially gain Lockers and Roberts - so all things being equal we will probably have a stronger team against Wire than we did against Catalans.

Adrian Morley got away with a thuggish (imo) challenge against us earlier this season. Jamie Peacock had two attempts at decapitating Sam Tomkins and didn't even get mentioned at the RFL. Keith Senior gets away with kicking out in the tackle as if thats the normal thing to do in much the same way Lee Smith did against us in the playoffs a couple of years ago. We get players sinbinned regularly in close games, Liam Farrell is a recent example for taking out the kicker yet this happens against us every week and goes unpunished or just penalised at best. Peacock did it on Tommy in the cup game, nobody mentioned it but it was blatant and dangerous and it was conveniently ignored. Not sure what game it was but Joel Tomkins was sinbinned in a home game a few weeks ago and I've watched it on the DVD a few times and I still can't work out what the offence was, also didn't he get a formal caution for dropping his knees despite the fact his knees dropped onto grass not even on the player? I happen to think 2 matches is fair enough but the lack of consistency is a total joke and really pi**es me off. Morley and Peacock in particular are going to injure someone one of these days but because they're 'ambassadors' nothing will happen until something serious happens.

I think Wigan will appeal and the ban will be 1 game
