| If Roberts is to come back this week then I'd prefer him to start on the wing.
Richards,
Roberts, Gleeson, Carmont, Pryce,
Sam T, Leuluai,
Fielden, McIlorum, Coley,
Bailey, Joel T.
Lockers,
Feka, Farrell, Riddell, O'Carroll.
That squad should more than good enough to see off the Crusaders.
I'd go with those six backs for some weeks and let Amos go to 1 during a game with Pat to 5 and Karl P to 2. If they can keep fit and their form that's the best set of backs and half backs in the League.

| Madge has confirmed we wont be seeing Famous this Saturday, and it looks like Mossop will be out longer than expected, and also Prescott will require some rest.
rlhttps://www.wiganwarriors.com/WContent.aspx?id
Wigan Warriors held their weekly press conference today with Head Coach Michael Maguire today to look ahead to Saturday's trip to the Crusaders, Michael was asked about the latest injury news on Amos Roberts, Harrison Hansen and Lee Mossop who dislocated his shoulder during the win at Huddersfield on Sunday, Michael told us,
" It's a real shame for Lee Mossop, he has been working really hard to get himself into the team, it is a shame he has popped his shoulder out, he could be a 4 or 5 week or it could be a 12 week injury, we are waiting on a surgeon to let us know which way it will go, hopefully we will get him back at some stage this season."
On Amos, Michael added,
" We might see him in two or three weeks, he is making good progress but we won't rush him back, we need to make sure he is spot on with his knee because it was quite a severe injury."
And on Harrison and other injuries,
"He has been working hard, he has actually put on a bit of size which will help us when he gets back. He is definately a 12 week from when he picked up the injury so again we won't be pushing him, you have to let shoulder injuries recover properly"
"Cameron Phelps has had a slight groin problem but he should be OK for this week"
For me, i'd give phelps a run at full back, with Paat back on the Wing (where he is most dangerous), Gleeson back in for Marsh, and Pryce keeping his place.
In the pack- Feka comes in for Prescott.
Joel, Bailey, Lockers. with Farrell on the bench

| I reckon Roberts will be back for the Leeds game. What a boost that would be.

| Really hope Mossop doesn't end up being out for 12 weeks, that would make his return around the time of the CC semi finals

Im such a pushover I have heard the worst case senario is the Wakefield game, the best is the Leeds game!! Not too sure what too make of that myself but if I find out any rumblings next week I will let you all know.
Even if it is the wakey game, it will be a massive boost for the Saints game which is the week after.

| I can't see Madge risking Roberts first game back as Leeds away in the quarter final of the cup. If he doesn't play this week think it may be the Cas game before he's risked.

As some of us thought, if he doesn't play this week against the Crusaders it's unlikely he'll play the following week against Leeds. Obviously the right choice, it's not worth risking Amos particularly when he'll have had no match practice before the game.

IIRC only one game per week counts, whichever team.
