Even playing on a friday night is better than having to play on a monday night.'" Yeah i agree we heared there after moving it from bridge next season something to do with the charges for the pitch
If they put both on sunday they would get a massive crowd on seems stupid really

| Quote: Morning Glory "The game really was stop start but I don't think the players helped this with some pretty dire skill levels on show. Having said that the ref did make some strange decisions, at one point after a spate of sinbins and a sending off he went for his pocket again, stopped and after holding his earpiece seemed to think better of it. Bob (the bloke on the side lines) got that one right and I'm not sure he would have given the other two sendings off in the game either.'"
Bob Derby? Now I know why he was on the earpiece, he's a ref supervisor (can't remember what the proper title is, been a while since I reffed). I know from first hand experience that he just gives general refereeing advice and lets the ref make the calls unless he's about to come up with a howler.

| Quote: Pengy "you kept giving this during the game and if you looked at the judes team sheet and knew anything about st judes club, you would have noticed that there was only 6 regular first team players playing and then the rest of the team was made up of a mix of 2nd team and under 18's players so please stop using this "where 4 divisions under you" as an excuse because it gets boring!'"
Still a decent effort to take you men to the wire tho!

The pitch is booked up on the saturday thats why there are Sunday/Monday games. I thought the Judes vs Ashton game is on the 24th, Monday?

It was indeed Bob Derbyshire. He did the Pats vs Ashton game midweek so I'd say he's done the job at all the games.

| Shevington 4 Wigan St Cuthberts 40 - Final score of tonights game.
Shev had plenty of chances but Cuths far too strong in defence.

| Enjoyed tonights game despite the scoreline. A very good cuthberts side were simply far too strong for Shevy. Shevy had a quite a few players missing though by the looks of it

Why are games always played at Ince anyway?
Personally I think the winning team should be rewarded with hosting the next season's games. If they then retained it when hosting, let the runner up do the year after.

| Tonights game was not a 40-4 game, but Cuthberts certainly deserved the victory
The Sharks know what will be expected each game next season, Im sure a good off season will help and lets see what next season brings
Not a bad game tonight, in the first period Shevington had the vast amount of possession without really troubling the Cuthberts defence

Think it's to do with the facilities what they have there but that pitch looked awefull last night
