Neither was I but yes. Regardless of what happens on the training field, how fit the players are, whether they defend in 2's 3's or 4's, having a squad of players that will be rested or dropped if necessary is a great motivating factor and will produce better results all other things being equal. Fringe players know they will get a chance if they work hard in training and first teamers know they will get dropped if they don't perform. Fantastic situation all round imo.
Can't comment on Fielden today obviously but he has been great for us this year. I think its great that people are starting to notice the contribution that Lulu makes to the team both in attack and defence, he was fantastic V Wakefield last week and I genuinely believe he has been one of our most under-rated players over the past few yeas.
