By way is he Phil Veivers lad ?'"
yes he is.
A very good organiser from that fullback position and good goalkicker.

Slight worry if we are gonna be playing a senior team when we should be resting.'"
Just what i was thinking we should be giving the likes of pat, sam, tommy, joel, lockers coley and stu a week off when we go to sheffield

| I agree entirely with young players going out to Championship clubs, it is a much higher standard than the U20 competiiton and many come back much better players. I was just stating with the number of young players going and playing in the Championship does MM think the U20s competition is not up to the neccessary standard to test the most promising juniors.

I'm pretty sure most coaches think that. I know IL has said as much in the past, and the press release implies it too:
"...an opportunity to play First Team Rugby League against senior players in a very competitive Championship side and gain higher-level match experience."

| These deals tend to work where the players train with Wigan during the week and play fopr the championship clubs at the weekend. As for the cup they tend not to play in those rounds.

The dual reg players aren't allowed to play for any club but the parent club in the cup. It's a condition of the dual reg system. Wigan youngsters can only play for Wigan in the cup.

| Quote: Cruncher "To be honest, I'd say that was out of the question - especially given him performance against St Helens. I'm pretty sure he's now back in regular first team contentin, and we need him to be with our current injuries.
Why? because he scored a try, he wont play much this year i don't think. Stu coles and OC are top 3 no doubt, and prec is playing well so no space for fek
