| McIlorum is a fine young player. His career has been held back by injuries but i'm really expecting to see him kick on under Maguire. His game suits the style Maguire wants us to play to a tee. He's tough as nails and is ultra competative.
If Maguire can work to sharpen up his distribution he could be our first choice number 9 in time.

where have i suggested that Ainscogh could play there ahead of those mentioned above?, all i originally asked was could he turned into a scooting hooker, then stated that MM isn't Wigan Standard and that Tommy is not a hoooker
Why does it matter where Tommy use not to play - he's a more effective 9 than 7 now for me. Players move positions all the time through their careers - some of our greats have done - Hanley, Edwards, Faz.
The reason you asked why not a hooker was that he was blocked on the wing by Roberts and Richard, so why would it be any different? In fact it would be considerably worst given we've two specialist hookers and a world cup winner there.
It looks like poor trolling on the Whinos board is the highest you should aim for.

| I think Ainscough will take the place of Pat Richards at the end of 2011 - I can see him leaving to take up a new challenge, he won't be short of offers.
That would probably be the limit of the amount of time we could keep Ainscough on our books before he would demand a permanent move elsewhere.

| As already stated Saints have continually loaned out Scott Moore until they needed him, and he improved at Huddersfield more than he would have done as a bit part player at Saints this is what is being done with Ainscough.
I think that McIlorum is better than Godwin, though thought it was a bit harsh when we got rid of him, and can see him becoming our No 1 9 once Riddell goes.

i'd also move lockers to when Carmont leaves and swap Tomkins to fullback with Phelps to 6

Richards, with Feka, having continued his weight loss trend, out on the wing taking a Vainikolo style role.

lol was joking, don't want to Ainscough either, was just wondering of he could be made into a scooting hooker due to explosive speed and footwork, some other users get a wee bit too excited now and then though

| Good news from Ainscoughs point of view, and great words from both Ainscough and Madge.
Funny about the tracksuit dilemma though!

| Best thing about the continuing loan of players like Ainscough is that they then can't play against us, as parent club. This gives us a huge advantage as it disrupts the other team when they come to play against Wigan and yet strengthens the Cas team when they play against our rivals!!!
Job done!!!
