I don't like the word 'Owned' Such an internet term and really has no use in professional sport. Wigan played very well in the first half and we knew we were going to come out all guns blazing in the second. In the end Hull just couldn't compete with our 3/4s. Hull will go well this year, but we were too strong for them on this occasion. And on the Sean Long subject. If we had paid the same attention to Horne as we had to Long tonight, we may very well have kept them down to 6 or 12 points.

I'd have taken him over Deacon in a heartbeat.
Deacon is a good player but some of the things Long did tonight especially in the first 20 mins with his jinking runs sets him apart from a player like Deacs who is roughly of the same age and experience.
Sean Long is a c0ck but I’d have liked to see him work with Sam and pass some of that cockiness and even arrogance onto him as imo it’s what sets the good HB’s likes Deacs and the great HB’s like Long apart.

He went missing tonight and I have never seen him do that against us in his entire career, he looked lost the entire second half.
