Hull did themselves no favours tonight to be fair. The first 10-15 minutes was a great tussle and then they just lost the plot and started giving away pointless penalties.

| Ok, I think the penalties he awarded to Wigan were all correct, Hull were blatently lieing on, grappling, and miles offside. Did anyone see when Long purposley backed into Roberts as he jumped? CLEAR OBSTURCTION, couldnt believe he missed this. And when fitzgibbon had a go at Hansen? He penilizes Wigan. In the last 10 i thought froggy was a joke, cleary trying to even up the penalty count so it all looks fair. Poor reffering performance in general.
But great result, still very happy  |

Exactly. I hope the refs continue this a bit more so out fame becomes a bit more like aus, where you have to use a bit of attacking flair to break the line rather than a 5 foot speedy hooker.

Terrible ref. Caves in to any kind of appeal. All you have to do is ask for a penalty and you'll get it

They really do.
I feel a little sorry for Mr Alibert at times because I get the feeling he's not overly confident in speaking the English language but thats upto the RFL to sort out.
The reffing situation is a real worry for me at the moment. It's getting to the point where you know your only going to get any decisions at home. That can't be right and really needs looking into. Each game has to be reffed on it's own merrits and not solely on which side is playing at home. |
