Would quite like them to give a younger coach, perhaps 3 tournaments and let them build a system like they should have done 20 years ago, instead of just copying the ausies, but 3 years to late, if you get my drift.
However the flaw in my fiendish plan is i cant think of a young coach who is doing anything off the top of my head!

Some of the people on the Wakey forum are well-placed and have dismissed the rumours. Sounds like speculation about the defeat on Saturday quickly turned into hard fact.

Not too badly placed myself regards Trinity and it is something that has been doing the rounds for a couple of weeks, still not saying it is hard fact though and indeed could be a case of Chinese Whispers as is often the case in Rugby League.

I can't see any of the other clubs having reason to change coach and IMO it would be a bit harsh if either of those two did anyway.
Either way I can't understand why any SL club would employ Milllward again. While he may have been stitched up getting the boot from Saints he gave them the ammunition and it must be common knowledge how he lost the dressing room here big time and seemed powerless to turn things around.
Dave'"
if the next vacancy is at Bradford then Noble will return and have Macnamara as his assistant

However the last two weeks it has returned to the bore fest that it was last year. It seemed like we was getting it right for the new term then the standards slipped a bit.'"
how can you say that, give the lads a chance it just shows how the season is turning out to be, LETS NOT BE THE SUPPORTER WHO STARTS TO PUT THE SIDE DOWN ONCE WE LOSE A GAME,

4916_1342356991.gif Rugby league must be a great game to survive the people who run it.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_4916.gif |

I thought that when I read his tips in sporting life this week - especially his comment "With Long returning, I'm not sure Wigan can bounce back. Long's caused Wigan no end of misery over the years and he can help Hull put in a big performance". I have never considered that Long has caused us a great deal of misery, he has seemed to go missing in a lot of matches and his supreme goal kicking was the main difference between us and Saints in the 2002 challenge cup - thanks Sean

It sounds to me like Millwards favoured tactic is no longer as effective as it once was and he wants it changing back.
