I'll be staying right where I am, and continuing my campaign against drums.'"
Good for you
Nothing like a bit of age old stubborness!!! Its amazing how pychosymosis kicks in after the age of 40!! even if it means that your experience of the game deminishes!! It is obviously a difficult situation and I don't want to tell you what to do... but if I was you I would move because although you might not like the drum and the atmospere it creates, there is a lot more people who like the fact that it is there.
Its very similiar to me, I used to like going to wigan pier for a night out, then i reaised that the atmosphere wasnt for me, so although it was hard to go elsewhere, i knew I needed to, to get enjoyment out of a night out round wigan. the good thing about the rugby is there are stands and places where you can chosse to sit... in no way am I telling you to move... but in this case it might be wise so that increases you're enjoyment of the match.... and lets other enjoy theirs...

Jack, WarriorSteve is right, we started in the West but moved after the first season, no atmosphere.
The drums get the crowd singing which then creates the atmosphere which hopefully makes the players respond.
Hopefully there is going to be a lot more atmosphere in the East this season and that will include drums, wife permitting , lets not all fall out.

Full of yourself, aren't you mate?
Nothing wrong with any of my mental faculties, although I think it would be hard to say the same for you.
Whatever "pychosymosis" is, I'm certain that I am not suffering from it.
The drum doesn't create atmosphere, it creates a stupid thumping noise, which I don't like. The club should ban them, or only allow them in the South Stand with all the other annoyances.
Now then, instead of me moving, why doesn't the drum move? Simple eh?

I don't mind atmosphere at all, but as I was there before the drum was, maybe he should clear off somewhere else?

pychosymosis... Is a human condition that is common in human beings and is fundamentally a hardening of attitudes with an inability to see other peoples perspective.. I am no way full of myself... I just want you to enjoy your the match whilst others enjoy their's. One man's pain is another man's joy... I can understand you're annoyance of the drums but at the end of the day... you either accept it or move on... IMO I would move on.. for the enjoyment of the majority of fans who like and respond to the drums.

Sorry mate, no such word.
Like everything else, you are just making it up as you go along.

Try listening to some motivational speakers such as Brian Tracy, Skip Ross and others... they use the term regularly and it has the same meaning as I described, Sorry if its not in the dictionary... I never bothered to look it up... obviously you have, so thanks for letting me know...
No need for the last comment TBH...

Sorry mate, it is a made up word, and the way you have spelt it doesn't help.
Why would I need to listen to motivational speakers? Surely the drum is enough to motivate me into creating an atmosphere?

Arn't all words made up by someone?... I have heard the word before, just because it is not in the dictionary doesnt mean that its use is not evident with human society...
Bit of advice mate! Either get over the issue and stop letting it effect your enjoyment of the game, because if its not binder it will be someone else... or move somewhere else!!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the drummers who help create the atmosphere at both the DW and at away matches... Your contribution is much appreciated... By some

| Binder is a good friend of mine but even I admit some of the best atmospheres we have had are when the drum has not been allowed into the ground.

That word has nothing to do with what he is attempting to describe.
I understand what the word psychosomatic means, and it has nothing to do with someone disliking drums as they get older.
As I said earlier, I have as much right to sit in a drum free arena as he has to sit in a drum dominated one. I am still unsure why he thinks I should move.
Personally, I would like the drummer to shove the thing up his , and I am as entitled to that opinion as anyone else is to theirs.

Unfortunately until the club ban them then he is as entitled to Bang it as much as another person is entitled to sing, boo, keep going to the toliet for a pee or to the Bar for a drink every 2 minutes or anything else that isn't against the Rules of the Stadium.
Now if the club had a "Vote" on the subject you'll probably find it ending up like this.
Should We allow the drum into the stadium
Yes 25%
No 5%
Couldn't be bothered 70%
It's not the end of the world!
