| Quote: XBrettKennyX "How about uninspired signings and a complete mess over the coaching situation?
Undermining your coach is hardly the way to ensure success.
IL has a LOT to make up for imo.
So far I would give him 3/10.'"
ha ha
What a joke! The anti IL band waggon on here of Brett Kenny, AJ and RHJ is laughable at best and bordering on a fixation with the guy.
If IL and Mick Hogan are Reading this please don't judge us or lump us all in the same boat as these clowns.
The majority of fans on here can see the excellent work that's being done at the club and the STRIDES we've made forward.
Keep up the good work

I dont, the post I was responding to, said "what has changed on the field"? From 2007 till 2009.
Barrett leaving. now if I am not mistaken Barrett hasnt played for us this year which by definition means he is not here. I never said I blamed IL. Catch up kid.

| Quote: cadoo "2007 I thought we were very far away from getting close to being a top two side. I thought Trent Barrett papered over a lot of cracks in that team and to get 2 semi-finals I thought we were punching well above our weight.
2009 I think we are much closer to being a top two side again. This time we had a real shot at getting to Old Trafford and were genuine contenders. I think our squad is much better than 2007 as well. A far greater influence in homegrown players. However as pointed out we have had still the same outcome. So we have replaced Brian Noble the correct decision IMO.
Wednesdays announcement is huge. With no disrespect to the brilliant job Shaun Wane does in the reserves - I hope it's not him.'"
What about off the field then? Average attendance in 2007 was significantly more than 2009, then there's the Hock thing, the whole debale last year after the Hudds match and now "IL vs Noble".

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

Not heard of that global recession thing going on have you? Or is that lenegans fault as well?
As for the hock thing, we're all still waiting for the statement, but the situation can't be blamed on IL. Finding out whats going to happen to Hock in a year or two isn't that pressing.

You really think that's the only reason our attendance has gone down almost 2,500 since 2007?

No, i would put it down to the awful performances on the pitch, IL has taken the correct action by sacking Nobby.

But hes still got the Swine flu outbreak to justify.
The contempt IL shown to the suffers is trully shocking

| Quote: post "Hopefully McGuire will bring Brett White with him.
As regards to the Higham situation I know a bloke who used to sit next to Highams Dad at the home games and Wigan offered him a contract and a good one at that but Warrington offered more money and he said " Its my last contract I have to provide for my family".
So don't blame IL as we did offer hijm a good deal similar to what he was already on.'"
I spoke to Mickey on a personal level about it and he wasnt even spoken to about a contaract. He went to wire on £35k a year but said he would have stayed at Wigan for less.
