Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

Great news if true, as you can see from my sig I think he could do wonders for us.

| Personally I'd rather wait until the right coach becomes available, insted of panic buying a coach no better or worse than noble.

That wouldn't be the case with McGuire (if it's true). The guy is tipped to be the next big thing in Aus.
It would hardly be panic-buying either. Noble's had three years at Wigan, and though he's delivered in some areas, he hasn't in others. I think the club have been more patient with him than they would have in former eras.

| Been more patient? Noble has saved us from relegation, and got us within 80 minutes of a grand final and challenge cup final. I'm sorry I don't think changing coaches after a bad result helps anything, look at the likes of Newcastle they had 3 coaches last year and looked what happens there.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

If he only brought one thing, its stability, and god knows we needed it..

Congratulations on inventing a new spelling of definitely. Presumably you have already tried the very popular 'definatley' and 'definately' and decided to go for an original one of your own.
(Unless you are actually a bear, in which case, congratulations on your grasp of human language, not to mention computer and keyboard skills with those great big paws).
By the way, Hanley will be the next coach, assisted by Radlinski.

Sorry, but I'm not getting into all this again. Been through it a hundred times already on this message board. Suffice to say, there is all kinds of evidence that Nobby is not the man to take us to the next level. Not saying he hasn't stabilised us, etc, but we're a mid-table team - and you don't win trophies from mid-table. Add to that Nobby only wanting one more year - and what use to us is that?
Mike McGuire, if we get him, would be a very exciting development, and no more a 'panic buy' than Graham Lowe was.

| I'm not saying I don't want a new coach, just want the right man that's all. Just all the noble hate talk really annoys me, he's done a good job and should be appriciated for his efforts, at the end of the day when he took over we where fighting relegation, 3 years later things are looking alot better. I just hope our next manager can make us step up to the next gear.

Although I understand your obvious strong views on McGuire - wasn't Noble dubbed by some fans as the man to take Wigan back to glory? These same fans have now dubbed McGuire as the saviour for Wigan.
I'm not saying he won't be good for Wigan if we get him nor am I writing him off before he's even started (if he even starts!). I'm just airing my concerns that fan's think he will bring instant success.
If he did sign, I doubt he would bring instant success - an improvement no doubt performance wise, but for us to be successful we need the right squad, which IMO is half the problem we have with the current coach.
