Young British players not knowing when they will be dropped next.
Players going backwards under his coaching.

All that and currently the side is outside of the top 8

It is just ridiculous for IL to even consider extending the contract of this Noble character.

Yes, because before the game, many agreed he had picked the right team. Riddell for Sam was the only change. With the way KR defended its hard to say what could have happened.

Next week he could be called into question if he doesnt select a team based on those who didnt perform last night.

I fail to see why you point to next week and chose to ignore this weeks team selection as if wanting to sweep it under the rug and pretend it did not happen.

Looking at the facts BN dropped Ainscough after a 4 try return and Tomkins after a crucial match winning contribution for it seems an unfit player in Riddell and Carmont who is not near 100% either.

Yes we have improved, but I don't think we could get much worse with this side.. Nobby isnt the man to take us forward and any contract on the table should be for something other than Head Coach IMO,

Im pointing to next week because the team didnt click as intended but before the game nobody saw the problem. The team for next week will once and for all put to bed the whole pick on form, keep/lose your place debate.

Carmont didn't struggle during the game and Riddell didnt seem unfit to me, he just didnt look d, there is a difference.

Tomkins is on form and was dropped. Riddell has not played for 2 weeks and was selected, i think that points someway towards the picking on form debate.

Call me naive if you wish. But in no way does that statement refer - in ANY shape or form - to Noble being offered a new contract.

If was the usual vague support that chairmen offer to struggling coaches in response to repeated questions from the press.

If Brian Noble was in no danger of losing his job at the end of this year, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. The deal would most likely have been done and announced - what purpose would cryptic hints serve?

And I'm guessing that last night's selection farce will have made it even less likely.

We could both be being, and it could well be a way of sitting on the fence, maybe im reading more into it than you are, but it wouldnt suprise me at all if it was a new deal being hinted at.
