| Quote: saints35 bulls0 "pretty much the same team that hammered Wakey 2 weeks ago, and the majority who took Leeds apart at weekend.
Expect Wilkin and Pryce at half backs, with an otherwise full strength backline. Graham, KC, Hargreaves, Puletua, Clough and Roby in the forwards. Bench of Eastmond, Frodsham, Faasvalu and Ashurst.
Lomax and Dean to miss out.'"
Not the most impressive Stains squad of recent years.
BUT they are well coached and have a gameplan and attacking and defensive structures we can only dream of.
I fear the worst.

But on the other hand, running on the angle he is able to attract defenders yet create the opportunity to off load, and Bailey's try versus Huddersfield was a good example of this. Coley running wide towards the wide defenders is where he was most effective at Salford, but he now seems to be mixing it in the middle too much for my liking.
Either way, his recent performances have earned him spot.

However, he is making no yards in doing so and he does this at innapropraiet times - like in our own 20 when we should be running hard at the defence. I do think Coley has improved since last year, but I would prefer to see Prescott in his place

| For me its
Richards
Roberts, Gleeson, Carmont, Ainscough
Tomkins, Leuluai
Fielden, Riddell, Feka
Hansen, Hock
Lockers
-----------
Prescott, Tomkins, Bailey, Smith.
Lets keep Fielden out there as long as possible. I have a feeling we will have to do alot of tackling so Fielden, Hansen, and Lockers must be up for it. If we are to rotate we must make sure Bailey and Prescott help out with the defence when they come into the game. Im hoping for a big game from Smith off the bench.

| Not necessarily the 17 i'd choose, but this is what I think Noble will go with:
Richards
Roberts
Gleeson
Carmont
Ainscough
Tomkins
Leuluai
Fielden
Riddell
Coley
Bailey
Hock
O'Loughlin
Hansen
Feka
Tomkins
Prescott
Gleeson to 6 and Leuluai to 9 when Riddell comes off, Bailey slotting into the centres.

I must be the only Wigan fan thinking that they are beatable
Your not the only one!
It all depends on the day really, will be able to tell after the first 10 minutes how its going to end up
I would drop Smith and Bailey from the 17 but I think he will drop McIlorum and Hansen

| I can't really see Gleeson playing 6 agianst saints.
Hes played there, but he's not going to know any of the moves or calls really. Hes probably trained with them for what, 3 days? 4 days tops?
I think we will see the same 17 we have done all season, except with Gleeson at RC, and Bailey/J. Tompkins out of the 17. I wouldn't mind seeing Lockers miss out, but not a chance really

Potter has got us playing superbly well at the moment. Defensively we're as good as we've ever been, but he's got players like Maurie, Wilkin and Flannery (who unfortunately misses out) playing to a level they haven't played at for a while.
If we hadn't had a really tough game on Sunday, I think we'd absolutely hammer you this week, but I feel fatigue may set in slightly and may give you more of a chance. I still tip a fairly comfortable Saints win though.

I'd go with that team, however i'd move tommy to hooker, lockers to stand off and tomkins to LF when piggy comes off. Don't rate Coley in slightest but need 4 props against Saints. And I'd defo start with Feka on bench - makes more impact coming off the bench half way through when saints tire (slightly!!!)
