I think Shorrocks probably will get that last bench spot tbh but I’m itching to get a look at what O’Neill can bring. It probably won’t come in to their thinking but if O’Neill doesn’t get selected, he’ll be the only lad not to have got any minutes in these two games.

Shorrocks would offer cover for Powell (albeit not as good as Smith on the bench and Tommy to 9) but would also be able to play in the back row with Isa moving forward so expect him to get the last spot.
