£10 First Try on Sarginson'"
Sarginson was centre with Thornley on the wing v Saints.

This is the 17 I'd expect. The only difference is if SW sees thornley and Burgess as his 1st choice left side pairing he may opt to put Sarginson or even possibly Gelling in Josh's place. Can't wait for Friday now.

Looks pretty good to me. Would like to see Pettybourne given a run in the SR thou.

Me too but with only 4 recognised props in the 19 I think he'll keep with him at prop with Clubb, Farrell and Bateman sharing the back row.

| No Tomkins in the squad, don't know if he's injured or dropped from last Friday.
SW used MicMac for the full 80 in the play off game at their place and it really did work well. N
Not sure if he's going to do the same again or, use Powell as an interchange 9 or spell either Green or Smith.
Gelling and Hughes to drop out.

Off the squad I agree. My comment about trying Eddie in the SR was a general thought, not for this game per say.

cant see MM doing 80, Wane probs wants to keep him fresh for WCC, which means he rates Powell in front of Logan for bench hooker.

had 2 pre season games lined up, one at wakefield which got waterlogged off... this messed plans up a fair bit.
played hull kr on saturday and won 20-18
think we will be going into this game very rusty and under prepared..
but who cares anymore, we won the league and been told it doesnt matter so will just warm the lads up for the play offs now.
still looking forward to the game though will be there, enjoy our visits we have a great recent record

Same as Wigan then. Reserve friendly at Leigh with a first team friendly against Saints. We had a game called off in between.
No excuses for either side then.

| Interesting that Powell has been picked ahead of Tomkins. I've always rated Powell more, but I do get the feeling that Logan will get better with age and experience.
