I would hope/expect the club to be making plans for 5 years in the future, never mind when Sam leaves. I think you may have seen something in that statement that was not meant.. |

How it read the other week was like Sam was going sooner rather than later , it could quite possibly have been more along the lines of let's see who's worth investing time coaching etc in and who's not at this time . |

If these stories have any substance, it might halt the anticipated exodus of Brit players to Aus in its tracks. Whether that would be RU's gain or ours, who knows. Perhaps there'll even be a few more Aussie stars looking for UK hidey-holes.
Major signings from Aus always see to get made in the wake of NRL scandals. Of course, performance enhancing drugs is another matter altogether.
