| I'm not buying a shirt this season as is too similar to last year's, and wouldn't anyway as even with the discount is still too much of an additional unnecessary expense every year.I don't bother going to the supporter's club. (Is this the one before and after matches in the South stand bar?)Hardly ever go to the academy games. You can buy cup and away tickets directly from the RFL's webpage, or the team you are playing. The offers are also valid in the East stand, often also the West.Do you really need/want Wigan TV if you are attending all the games anyway? Quote: Conroy "10% discount on your shirt.
Access to the supporters club.
Discount to all U19 and U16 games.
Priority on cup and away games.
Your own seat if in the East (a particular highlight for me) and West.
Discount on Wigan TV membership.
They'll claim all the above make it financially viable.'"

In that case it probably was pointless getting a season ticket yes

| Personally, I love the view from my seat in the East Stand as well as not needing to rush up at 6pm for an 8pm kick off like you do in the South. That in itself is worth the extra.

But if you're attending all the games anyway a season ticket works out better value.

I sit in the south, and get a pretty good seat every week when I rock up at 7:55.

| A 2013 season ticket in the East Stand Silver was £225 for early bird renewals. The matchday price is £22 for that area this year. Even taking out the £10 Wire tickets and the Big One promotion, that still works out as a saving compared to buying individual match tickets.

| Me and my lad have got season tickets in the South Stand. His ticket entitles him free entry to all away matches. That's not bad value .

As a season ticket holder, you personally don't benefit from it. The 6 people who are non season ticket holders who get in for a fiver each are the ones who benefit whilst it cost you approx £19 for the same match.

Only if you're guaranteed to actually go to every game. Last year I missed two through being on holiday. Nobody's going to give me the average price of £19 back for each game I miss, I can hardly sell the ticket to family or friends for them to use whilst i'm away, especially not when they're off getting offers on tickets for every other game or using one of our two scrum tickets.

Is that just you though? Could my group of 10 do that week in week out and get the same quality view I get now?
I paid 220 for my ST I think. That's around 17 a game. Even with the scrum ticket and big one offer I save. PLUS those offers won't equate to the seats in which I sit.

| I've not got a season ticket because I know there will be more than three occaisions that I can get free tickets/hospitality therefore pointless forking out.
The incentives to buy a season ticket need to be better for me personally.
A good incentive for me, would be discount for away tickets as I rarely miss a game.

| The season ticket is good value if you attend all the matches, attend at least some of the academy matches, make use of all the other offers and discounts. If you just attend the first team matches and thats it you may think that it is not worth it.

| Not bothered with a season ticket this year. I don't intend on going to every game this season. Can't be doing with borefests which ultimately mean very little against lower league teams whilst sitting in a dull cold stadium. I can take advantage of scrum/ the big one offers, and then get the odd discounted ticket from work for £10. Getting priority on final tickets in the event we get to one isn't that big a deal because even after season ticket holders get priority, I'd still be able to get a ticket because the matches just don't sell out.

i'm the same, if you go to all home and away it's a quid a match for the kids, even if the kid only goes to two home games the season ticket has paid for itself, great value imo. not so sure if i'll stay in the south once he gets older though, might opt for the better view and guaranteeing a seat in the east at that time
