could it be that russell has sort of done his job for hull now, he went in to fill a space and now with mcgoldrick signed at hull he is no longer needed

I wonder if Russell may go to Salford next season on loan? Patten is retiring at the end of this season and rumour has it that Hull will sign Shannon McDonnell from HKR. Plus they have already signed Ryan McGoldrick.
A loan move to Salford for Russell may be good for all concerned.

He'd be a good fit for their style of play in attack, definitely. I'd be concerned about having him in a side that's already defensively frail, though. |
