To be fair to him he does have a point about the toothless nature of the judiciary panel. The other week we saw a spear tackle go unpunished both during the game and by the panel. That offence used to be a straight red card as it can cause a broken neck.

Almost every week there is at least one player that commits an offence that carries a potential ban of between 4 and 6 games and yet most when found guilty get a small fine and a slap on the wrist.

If that deserves a ban of up to 2 months we would never have any players on the field!

I couldnt agree more about our judiciary system but up to 2 months for that is a laughable statement, Basically he is saying that, the ref, the TJ, the judiciary and 50% of fans are completely wrong!!!

But why make an example of him?? because he is bitter about sundays result, you could say that about any of the 10 or 15 players that were all accused of infringements on Sat/Sun!!

If he feels that way then maybe he should P155 of back to Aus.

The mans credibility is shot to pieces.

If he is so adverse to violence then why is he condoning his players do it? lets be honest he aint adverse to giving his own players a slip on the sidelines.

hes a c0ck, if hes team is squeaky clean then fair enough......but no team is. He should get on with his job instead of giving all these interviews.

Last year they tried to defend a player when he was taken "late" and Griffin ended up on the wrong side of a hiding. Give Lockers 2 months for a mediocre late shot, but let Mason off for a punch. Hypocrite.

The bit I don't like in the article is this: ""Over here, it's a hundred times worse. Any player can take a risk, a la O'Loughlin the other day. "

The implication being Lockers deliberately went for Robinson knowing if he caught him late it would not matter. Lockers is not that sort of player and never has been. He's barking up the wrong tree.

Coming out with stuff like that detracts from the overall point he is trying to make.

I can remember Joe Lydon getting an automatic 8 match ban for a high tackle (that John Monie thought was a great effort) and I would not mind players being found guilty of certain offences getting an automatic penalty with no interpretation of how long a ban to give.
