Give over..What is it with us buying duds that previously played for Bradford, i know Hanley and Skerrett are exceptions but the current crop are woeful.

Is there anything untrue about what I said?

I agree. He's never going to wow people by going the length of the field, but if Darrell Goulding can be "outstanding" by being nothing other than solid, why can't Pryce? He did nothing wrong all night apart from one knock on.

| He did alright IMO, he didn't lose any yards when he got the ball, didn't let anyone past him, got back to sweep up a couple of kicks and even got over for a try. He still looks a bit slow for a winger and though, and his ball control isn't the best. He was very lucky not to let a try in early on when he dropped the ball. You can tell that he really isn't confident, perhaps he listens to the fans a bit too much. There's a good player in there somewhere, but it would take a lot of work, and I'm not sure this is where he'll do it.

Apart from the lazy play the ball knock on and a general lack of enthuiasm, nothing.

It wasn't a 'lazy play the ball' it was a mistake.
If you want an example of his entusiasm then look at him trying to get out of our own in goal, other plays could have just picked up the ball and wandered over the dead ball line. Pryce at least tried to get out. Everyone else in the entire team has been given another chance under Maguire, except Pryce. Why not?
He did NOTHING WRONG tonight.

Deserves a place on the wing against Widnes at least. Let's see how he does!

The sad thing is that with some people it doesn't matter what he does they will still not give him any credit. He scored 4 tries for the reserves and all some people could say was things like "he only had to fall over the line", "my nan could have scored those tries" and other such rubbish.
It beggars belief that some people would rather have a player be a complete failure just as long as they aren't shown to have been wrong but that sadly appears to be the case. He is in a Wigan shirt and that is enough for me to give him my support.
All some people like myself are asking is that he is given the opportunity to show what he can do without the sort of treatment he has been given. If he doesn't cut it then so be it but some would still rather criticise him as soon as he steps onto the pitch rather than watch his performance with an open mind and will subsequently ignore anything positive that he does while heartily criticising any errors however slight or inconsequential.

Sorry mate, he isnt and will never be a great RL player, i hope his injuries clear up and that he can make a living for himself from RL but i doubt it will be at Wigan.

Not too sure he deserves to stay in the team, depends on injuries I guess. What were people's views on Marsh (there's probably a thread on him but I can't see it) I thought he did pretty well, could do with putting a bit of muscle on though as he was hanging off players sometimes when tackling, he seemed to grow in confidence as the match went on.

Start one then before i do I thought Marsh looked very good and will certainly be one for the future.

At which point did I say he was a great RL player?

| He must have some compromising photos of Michael Maguire.
Ainscough at Widnes and he gets a game?
PS. Ainscough is still joint top scorer at Cas.

| I thought he was solid if unspectacular today.
He got put into space once and scored from it. He also looked enthusiastic to take the ball up when we were under our sticks and made decent yards in the process to.
Obviously he made the TWO mistakes off their kicks but he also did some good things in that dept as well.
The people who think he was rubbish need to get a grip. He was far from rubbish or unenthusiastic like someone else pointed out as well.
He defiantly however did enough to keep his place against Widnes and I hope he can build on today and get better each week.
