Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

I agree.
Just think - they will now never be able to remember Knowsley Road (or Central Park for that matter), without also remembering that we did them in the last game. Everything that went before counted for nothing. Wigan had the final bragging rights. Sweet.  |

I stood and shouted at the end of the game the words 'forever' over and again towards the Saints fans because if that is the last derby that is how long todays result will last for!
Does it wipe out the 75-0 game? Well obviously not imo but then does the 75-0 wipe out today's result? again obviously it doesn't. We'll have the bragging rights of winning the last derby at Knowsley road until the day we all snuff it if that today was indeed the last derby so it really does mean an awful lot.

Yeah but they are always bragging that Tommy Martyn got the last try at Central Park. They also got the last try today but guess what? We won both games so who gives a sh*t? Ha Ha.
