It's just silly behaviour, the person who did it probably has little knowledge of Rugby League. Unfortunately all the clubs have idiots like this.

Absolutely fair enough, and I will at least apologise to you and your daughter on behalf of the vast majority of Wigan fans who find that behaviour despicable.

I've seen a few clowns calling themselves Wigan fans trying to kick off with visitors outside the ground once or twice - there will always be a few morons among 15,000 - but EVERY time I've also seen real Wigan fans having a go at them and telling them to cut it out.

I used to sit near the North Stand and most games there are a few 'hard nuts' (normally the pale & skinny chav type) baiting Wigan fans with abuse, gestures, 'come-ons', etc. Generally they are ignored. Every team has them (some more than most, granted), it's up to the rest of us to shout them down and put them to shame.

Its a shame when I hear things like this, I pride our glorious game on the fact that its safe and friendly on the terraces.

I Really do feel shamed when I here things like this happen in our game Rugby League is a family sport not a bloody Football match where Chavy Hooligans get a kick from fighting with there opposit fans

As a teenager myself I dont see why people of my same age get a kick from doing this I really do not one of the lads from my school (Ive left now) was involved in the Leeds incident earlier in the season where he and my other mate got the night in the cell for fighting just because we lossed I just really do not see where the fun in that is. Im all for a bit of banter with other fans but anything more is just daft and more like Football behaviour imo.

Thankfully our great game is nothing like Football and people like that in our sport are gradually going away which is good.

Like many others have said I really hope that this incident today will not stop you from coming to our stadium again.
