I thought he was okay on Friday. Guess okay isn't good enough.

| I rate Hansen tbh and i also rate Joel Tomkins but neither have been at the top of their games this year so far and both are at risk of being rested/dropped at the weekend.
If that keeps them on their toes and makes them work that bit harder then theres no harm in it imo.
Mossop and Farrell really do look handy players when i've seen them and both must be given a shot sooner or later.

I know Coley is a scape goat, but this is very harsh. He set up two of Wigans tries against Salford and Baileys try on Friday from his off loads.

Well Hansen's and Tomkins' 2009 defensive stats are near enough on par and Joel is obviously the better attacking player of the two, that's why I'd opt to drop Hansen. Tomkins is more of a complete player and is much more versatile to play at SR or Lock.
I just think Hansen needs to be taken out of his comfort zone and realise the quality that can/might replace him. It will bring out the best in him as well as giving a deserved opportunity who I repeat, deserves an over due debut.

| Sooner stick Mossop/Flanny/Farrell in the second row, Mossop-not at prop just yet.
Unfair on Joel, he's a quality loose playing SR, it's high time Lockers was moved to SR and Joel to 13 for the good of the team. Joel was much better at 13 last season when Lockers was out.
Even though he's our capt, if Lockers were injured I wouldn't be too considered, we could play Joel at 13 with a few to pick from for the SR slots.
Hate to say it, but I'd sooner see Lockers out than-
Richards
Tommy
Carmont
Hock
Ainscough
Sam Tomkins
Joel Tomkins

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go

| Long term I would love to see Mossop at prop but yeh hopefully he will play at Barrow instead of Hanson IMO it would be the best time to do this, but Hanson should play against saints.

| may i add i agree to give others a chance, especially this weekend. Just make sure that we are respectful and get the job done at the same time.
with everyone drawing each other in the cup, this is our best chance for years of possibly winning it or at least getting to the final. Very similar to portsmouth winning the FA cup last year.

Hanson is a quality player he does more than just tackle.
He runs some great lines and has no fear, he always puts the effort in, he is one of my favourite players as a fan.

| Give Mossop a game against Barrow and rest Hock and Joel for Saints and Catalans and if Mossop impresses against Barrow and continues well in the reserves give him a go against Celtic who we have at home after Catalans

| Hansen may run strong lines but what is his tackle bust rate? offload rate? Has he ever drawn in a man then pasted the ball along? Ever looked like doing something in attack without someone else putting him through the gap? Far and few between.
He may try hard, but he simply isn't good enough, a quiet lad who tries hard, sorry but this isn't enough. Raise the bar at Wigan, he's not good enough.
I respect people's opinions and I know he's liked by some, but for me he's not good enough.
After Ferrell/Mossop/Flanny has a good game and plays better you'll agree.
For me Hansen (his type of player) is one of the issues with Wigan. Someone who is a 'try hard' but not good enough. Lets build a team of winners.

I agree with you. Might sound harsh as he's clearly a hard worker but people need to keep asking the question - does this player belong in a potential title winning team? I don't know if Hansen does.

| Exactly Mad dog.
Let's build a winning team. Not a team of 'try hards', worse thing is he's keeping out talent that deserves a place.
Build a team of winners
NEW FB
Richards Gleeson Carmont Ainscough
Tomkins NEW 7
NEW 8 Tommy NEW 10
Farrell Lockers
Tomkins
------------
Hock Feka Riddell Prescott
--------------------------
Give Roberts/Pryce/O Carroll time, but so far I don't see a winner.
