| Easiest and quickest way to do the journey is on the train, plus you can have a few pints, and not have to worry about getting clamped.
There is a train from Wigan North Western at 11.25am on the Sunday, getting you in to Barrow at 1.00pm. Return trains at 6.18pm and 8.02pm.
Usually have to change at Lancaster (easier than changing at Preston). There are also trains from Chorley and (direct) from Bolton.
I do this journey quite frequently (as a Barrow fan living in Hindley), and 99 times out of 100 there are no problems.
The station is 5-10 minutes walk from the ground, with plenty of pubs on the way.

The way forward is a strong SL and the only way to do that is by shutting the shop up IMO once we have the right balance of teams in there.'"
Serious question for you ((if)) Wigan were demoted the other year and then the SL closed shop with you on the outside, would you honestly have the same thought process

Relegation or not, Wigan would still have been granted a franchise so would not have been left on the outside anyway. Nevertheless I would have expected them to have bounced back like Cas did the following season, given the difference in quality between SL and NL1.

| Cheers for that! It's also in the Evening Mail today saying Wigan should be getting another allocation of tickets later this week, just waiting on the council to give a capacity figure to determine how many more you get.

Here's a sneaky question.
If there's already 5,000 tickets been sold, how come Wigan only got 1,000?
By my maths we should already have had 1,500 under the 30% ruling.

| I'm sure the RFL are well aware of what is happening ticket-wise for the match. I know the directors knew of the 30% rule when Wigan were pulled out of the hat.
I haven't seen this RFL 'rule' in writing, but for anyone that has, are there any exemptions ?
