I love Miski, but I'd have preferred Charley over him when we left Wire. 

I'm not sure we need to spend the money on either tbh but surely if they cost the same, a proven 34 year Rugby League winger is better than a 34 year old Union winger? Wade gave it a fair old crack on Friday and the basic errors I suppose can be excused but there is an awful lot of work for him to do, to become a player you could count on in a big game and at his age, I don't think the odds look great that he'll have time to get to the level. 

I’d take a punt on Charnley if the money was right. Think he’d make great competition for marshy and eckersley and is great back up. May spare us on to win the GF next year also good send off and all that. Think we need people to come in and motivate this team to carry on, seem to have struggled with that 

If its Charnley or Wade then its Charnley for me

Isn't this a moot point anyway as most rumours have him nailed on going to Oldham once his contract with Leigh is up?

Going off his comments about his situation, that seems to have been put to bed, with him wanting to continue in Superleague. Now, maybe Big Nige suggests we go to 14 teams next year and the ridiculous situation comes about where teams can basically buy their way in to the league and Oldham do it and it may be back on but it sounded very much like it's now a last resort sort of move for him. 

Just been reading on another forum that since that interview was recorded (which was before our game), he's kissed and made up with Lam/Leigh and a new deal has been signed at Leigh. Not sure if there is any truth in it but it would make sense from their point of view IMO. He's still a good player and better than Leigh's other wingers. 

Peet confirmed Charnley won't be coming to Wigan - no cap space. Hopefully that doesn't mean there isn't space for any new signing. 

You would assume (or hope) our cap space for new signings is already allocated to said signings and they are waiting to be announced
