As I have said before I bought my batch of tickets as soon as they went on sale but there are fans I know that DONT have a credit or debit card and wish to purchase tickets by using cash only. Tell me how they would have bought ticket specifically for the seats they want when the RFL were holding those seat back at Redhall.

So the RFL should adjust their whole system to allow for people who don't have a debit card





I know Wigan is a bit behind the times, but I thought debit cards had reached you by now.

There should be a cash alternative for the tickets that are on sale via the RFL. How they implement such a thing, i'm not sure.

Maybe we will have a sell out and people will be locked out (just like Manly in 87 where we had 37,000 inside the stadium and 4-5000 trying to view the game from the bridge).

Can't wait for the WCC, St George won't know whats going on when 25,000 Wigan fans are chanting the same song.

The newly sent RFL tickets havent been selling that well since last week. Ill predict a crowd of around 20K!

I'm pretty sure most of the part time fans hardly think about the season before it starts and probably can't even remember the date. They will start to sell quicker as its posted all over sky sports and people realise they need a ticket.

I checked the e-ticketing site on Thursday evening and it showed 3,370 available for sale through via Wigan (North 1083, South 769, West 393, East 1126).



Tonight shows 2,880 tickets available through the e-ticketing site: (North 1002, South 536, West 374, East 96icon_cool.gif.



Yes, I know that the site isn't 100% accurate, but it does show movement of 490 tickets over four days - which I'd say is about right around now. I fully expect ticket sales to ramp up after the Cardiff weekend.

I believe the tickets were due at the DW today (hopefully) !!

Just checked now and it shows 4933 tickets available through the e-ticketing site: (North 2712, South 471, West 365, East 1385).



It looks like the RFL have released tickets for the North and East stands. Does anyone know if the RFL have released all the tickets back to Wigan now?

Hope we start shifting some more for the North Stand. We're sat in there! We wanted 8 tickets for the South Stand but all the central tickets had been sold so we made do with the North.

Yes, definitely looks like the RFL have released Two Thousand more tickets to Wigan in the North & East Stands.



If 471 tickets available in the South are all that there is left then I'd expect them to go pretty rapidly this week into next, with the North selling well over the next fortnight.

Have the RFL still got an allocation or is the Wigan ticketmaster reflecting total availability that is left?

I'd say the RFL still have an allocation. The telephone number on the poster is an RFL number so it would be madness to give Wigan ALL remaining tickets for the match.

So we dont really know how many have been sold then as Wigan have 4900 left and RFL have an unknown quantity left.

All we know is that total sales passed 15,000 a couple of weeks ago.



I reckon we will have sold 1,000 to 2,000 since that announcement, and with Wigan having 4,900 left there can only be 3k approx left with the RFL.

RFL must have given loads of tickets back to Wigan. Ticket site showing 2,600 seats left in the North stand and a similar amount over the rest of the ground with the west stand and south stand pretty much sold out and only round the edges left in the east.



So... we are soon going to hit 20k with sales hopefully and if its not a sell-out it will only be the North stand which has a few empty seats.

Well over 15,000 tickets had been sold 2 weeks ago and sales will only pick up after the Saints game. I am therefore confident of a sell out.
