Think some of our fans tend to exaggerate I`ve seen we have as many as 10 missing.
I make it Myler, Fusitua, Newman, Holroyd, Dwyer, Martin and Bentley all of whom would be in the starting 17.
Shame really as it would have been a good test to see where we both are.
I will go Wigan by 10

In fairness it’s horrible luck only a week in to the new season. It’s a credit to Leeds the 17’s I’ve seen people putting about the place look as strong as they do.

I do fancy you guys to be Saints closest challengers this season if you can keep everyone fit.

I know just when Agar was saying we have our strongest squad for a long time before the Wire game.
Well we can now see how strong that squad is.
I predicted us 3rd this season with Catalans winning the league.
Not sure that was a wise choice after Saints hammered them!

I really don’t think we look that strong, and I think people are overrating us this season. Sezer is class, but Austin is up in the air. let’s see…..
Our back line is very weak without Newman and Fusitua.

A lot will depend on the halves but on paper and with everyone fit, there aren’t many better 17’s IMO. You need the Austin and Sezer of their first seasons at Wire and Huddersfield but get that and I can’t see you finishing below 2nd or 3rd.

Hope so, Sezer will be great if he stays fit. Agree Austin could to, but was terrible last two years at Wire….

If Wigan can’t beat a Leeds side with 7 first choice players missing you lot are in a bad place.

The Leeds team will look really strong on paper tonight and if we get beat it won’t be the end of the world.

We hear it all the time. Wigan can have a full team injured (and pretty much have for the past 3 seasons) but are still a scalp for anyone that beats us but if our opponents have some injuries we are lucky and should have won anyway. Glad people still see us as the benchmark.
