| we have sold 1000 and are expected to bring 1500, if the self proclaimed greatest club in the world can't muster 7,000 supporters for a semi final then its a very poor do
or are you all saving yourselves for the final

I wouldn't be surprised, disappointed, but not surprised. It's a Thursday and the prospect if having to shell out again on Saturday for OT tickets can't be ignored. Plus, although I don't expect charity, I thought the discount for ST holders was a bit mean.

| It won't be anywhere near what it should be for a game of this importance, but I think it will break 5 figures.
Considering it's the only home game of the season that a ST can't be used for, when in the old system there was usually 2, it is poor that there hasn't been a bigger demand. RL tickets aren't expensive and it completely devalues the product to reduce ticket prices for big games.

Still be double what you men had in the home stands against Leeds last week and that included season ticket holders

| I think someone has been taking the urine. A massive announcement on the club website about massive queues and rapid ticket sales , 2 days of jammed phone lines and crashing sales websites, a seating plan showing it selling out fast. Panic buyers ( like me ) ..and for what? Today there seems sales are so poor you can walk up and pay on the turnstile.
Me ? I have to circumnavigate the stadium and queue to pick up tickets which cost an extra 2 quid to pre order.
Like The song says...." we wont get fooled again"

| As though there was ever a chance you wouldn't be able to pay on the gate!! The ground holds 25k.
Sure the people who queue up need help.

I remember once yonks going to see a game at Anfield (England v NZ??), and doing it in a day. I was nearly dropping off driving back down the M5, it got pretty scary.'"
I stop over at the Premier Inn in the town centre normally . It's just this time cant get Friday off (developing a nice cough tho' and working on it ) lol.

I will be sat in the West Stand freezing because all the Season ticket holders round about me will be absent because they have to pay this time . I understand times are tight but cant get my head around why you would watch all season and bale out at the last minute . Regards , EW

| Quote: NickyKiss "I'd be surprised if it breaks 8,000. One thing this format hasn't done is improve crowds.
Weird that half the crowd that turned up to potentially watch us lift a tea tray won't turn up for a proper game (our biggest of the year).'"
Most of the season ticket holders around me attend because they have already paid . Pay again no chance . Half of them were walking out the other week when Matty Smith was taking the last minute kick against Leeds and didn't even turn round to see if he had scored . The other half had already left .

| Maybe the trip to millwall for a home game will come back to haunt the club? Fans as they often do, vote with their feet.

But PO attendances have pretty much always been poor. I was dead against the Millwall game but, if anything, I think if such a large proportion of our core fan base can't be bothered to attend a home semi final it completely justifies IL trying to generate interest elsewhere.

We've not had a good crowd (by our standards) for a play off tie for years so doubt that's got anything at all to do with it.
It's a creative way of people bashing that game and Lenagans decision though should they wish to.
