| Must say, Logan went well IMO. Read alot on here about how he's not that good or ready and as such has (wrongly) formed a pre-opinion of him.
He went well, for me

| To say that people rate Carberry more i thought Carberry was quite poor tonight I hardly noticed him whereas Logan led us around the field for the majority of the time he was on.

Same, Its the first time I have seen Logan play - other than the odd TV apperance for Widnes and I thought he was better than most people make him out to be on here. I think the expectations of him are so high for him just because of his name, people dont see the bigger picture.

| Dudson looked like he will be a hit for us, was impressed by him. Number 10 (Tom Spencer?) looked good too, we could easily give him some games in Super league this season.
As mentioned above we looked more organised/structured when Logan was on and i was impressed with him.
Our kicking was utter turd
Was impressed overall with the standard of our youngsters, i struggled to recognise who was who but some looked like they will definatley make the step up.

| Dudson and Spencer were both very good and it's pleasing to think we've got quality and size like that as 7th and 8th choice props (it seems that way anyway). They both did long minutes and just kept rolling us forward.
I also enjoyed their double beasting of Crabtree in the 2nd half! Dudson got a great shot on him.
As for who's in pole position out of Mellor, Powell and L Tomkins to back up our half/hooking position its without doubt Tomkins on last nights form. His distribution was spot on and he defended really well.
I felt a bit for Mellor and Powell in terms of a kicking game because most of the time they were pinned on the back foot trying to kick from their own 30 or 40 metres.

Ive seen the bigger picture. It's called Logan's Run and starred Michael York and Jenny Agutter. By strange coincidence it was reshown on Film 4 last night

| Hughes looked an option for the centres, playing against a decent Giants backline, Burke looked like a "ringer" I can't beleive he was in the U20 team.

| Cant really read too much into a game like this but it was great experience for the u20s lads and they did really well against a much stronger Huddersfield team.

My eyes! Oh my word, I thought our home kit from last year was bad!
Gelling played well I thought last night.
We went to pot once our senior players went off, Huddersfield had us pinned down in our own half for most of the game. Still, good defensive display from the kids.

Likewise I thought Spencer is one to watch the lad seems to have a lot of potential, everyone of them young lads should be proud of how they played last night against a much stronger team.
