The club doesn't automatically give a testimonial. I am pretty sure Steve Hampson was a 10 year man and he and the fans were a bit miffed he didn't get one.
As to the RFL involvement isn't it because he will make money from it so without RFL permission being required that would be a nice rouse to get around the salary cap. |

jesus thats a long way to get round the cap that haha
am i right in thinking his full wage wont count on cap now too? seem to remember something about that with horne at hull |

It's time that we pitted ourselves(league) against the other code again, i remember the Wigan V Bath games and the Twickenham 7's(or whatever it was), and Rugby League certainly had the bragging rights that year , and proved we were by far the better game/players/teams/athletes etc etc  |
