I have an opinion you obviously do not like Pomeroy average centre could end up in the back row. But to imply that Pomeroy and Best are anyway near the class of Gasnier and Cooper is silly to say the least. |

Its not silly, he has a valid point. Everytime I have seen Ganier and Pomeroy line up against each other, Pomeroy has outplayed him. |

NO, maybe enough to beat Barrow this weekend. World class centre needed. Gasnier must be getting on and in need of some pension top up. Jamie Lyon? (that would really pi55 someone off). Cooper (Dragons), Idris (too late, Titans). Perhaps one of Brisbanes up and coming. But please no Inglis he's as consistant as Russel Crowes accent in Robin Hood.

I didn't say that Pomeroy is better than Gasnier, I pointed out an indisputable fact that Pomeroy blew Gasnier off the park in the match earlier this season, which shows how good he can be.
Your earlier assertion that Pomeroy will become a backrower because he's big reminds me that both Cooper and Gasnier are bigger than Pomeroy? Not seen much of either in the backrow. |

If later this year we lined up against one of the top teams like above i'd expect us to challenge. So to the question "would this side challenge?"... with the squad we already have signed up for next year i'd expect us to be challenging.
Obviously though we wont line up like that. With the money from Coley, Deacon, Carmont, Gleeson, and Hoffman we would have more then enough to sign a couple of really good quality players to compliment our current playing roster. |
