| Richie Myler, never once made me stand up and think 'wow, this lads a good un'.
Same goes for Ben Harrison, all he does is try to big hit people on the blind side and fails every time.

He never failed against Stu Fielden, that was a cracker.
Agree about Myler. He is a poor mans Danny Mcguire (which takes some doing).
Wilkin is another. Utter rubbish and a media luvvie to boot.

Has won 4 Grand Finals and 5 Challenge Cups, picking up a Harry Sunderland and a Lance Todd along the way.
If only Wigan players were so bad in big games.

Good shout, MASSIVELY overrated.
Check him out compared to Paul Clough (who in my opinion is one of the most under-rated players in SL.)

The "Whos best? Myler, Tomkins or Eastmond?" talk from Wire fans is embarrassing.

It is.
Tony Smith's call a couple of weeks ago should put that one to bed once and for all.

A good call on Paul Clough - made as many yards for Saints as Harrison in two less games, made more tackle busts and missed 40 less tackles. Only 13 missed tackles in 24 games is an awesome statistic. Defensively he is right up there - you need that type of player in every successful team. Harrison isn't a bad player, but he seems to get more of the headlines because he plays amongst a pretty dominant and experienced pack, having the luxury of focusing on big hits and producing offloads rather than refining technique.
Both are still far behind Joel Tomkins though as an all round second rower - that lad has come on leaps and bounds this season, but still is underrated in my opinion when you compare the praise that more average second rowers like Westwood have been getting for less productivity (compare the stats for Westwood to J Tomkins - just no comparison).

No question - I see Clough and Harrison more as props than back rowers TBH.
Joel Tomkins is a brilliant talent, as good as his brother IMO in their respective positions. It's very difficult to be such a dominant player at Joel's age in his position.

| Why do people insist on comparing stats, they mean bugger all and i am sure most of them are made up anyway. I stopped taking notice of them after the wigan v wire game. The day after that the stats read Gareth Carvell - Errors 1, which was funny as i saw him drop the ball 3 times at least.
