Trent Barrett?
A huge name in the NRL who lived upto the hype unlike a certain Mr King(i expect the old 'Kings won a challenge cup medal' line).
If Wigan and Wire put the same money on the table for a player over the past few years and at present the player would only choose one club(and they play in cherry and white) and everyone in the game knows that. Thats just a fact. We haven't had the spare cap space to compete for guys like Morley, King and Carvell over the past few years but thats because we started the superleague salary cap era as a huge club with a full cap unlike Wire who started it as a mid to lower league table team who couldn't afford to spend upto the salary cap limit until a sugar daddy came in.
I'm not trying to be a troll or wind people up but these are just facts. |
