Would expect more featherstone fans will turn out than did for cas with it being us so could see 4-5k featherstone fans, and given we usually take anything between 1,200 - 3,000 away, and the novelty factor of an away day to a place we dont usually go, would expect us to take 2k plus.



The ground only holds 6.5k so would say a sell out is pretty nailed on.

Gutted. Would have loved to go over to Fev, as I've not been before. Working in Glasgow on the day though and can't get away until about 5, so no chance of getting down in time. I'd been really looking forward to going, but they've chosen the only time over the entire weekend when I've got no chance of getting there.

Impossible to get there by train from Stoke. Will have to settle for the TV.

If they couldn't sell out a game with their closest rivals I can't see this being one, unless we take more than cas.

I have 1. If I wasn't in work on Friday night (or the game was Saturday or Sunday) then I'd have 2. Turns out I don't and if that meant I was behind Joe Bloggs' in the que then so be it, they'd deserve to be in front of me.

Cas brought 900, which is pathetic, although you do need special certificates to be allowed to leave their town (DNA standards, no webbed feet and the correct number of fingers etc).



I'd imagine you'll be allocated 2000 tickets and I'm sure you'll put a better effort in than our neighbours did.

Fev are a great traditional club with an excellent coach and are very consistent. However there is an unsavory "fan" element attached to the club which I hope doesn't rear its head next week.

I wouldn't worry, two or three mindless idiots did cause some bother with Leigh and Halifax last year, life bans have been issued.



We've played both Leigh and Halifax since without incident, the Halifax game was segregated, but fans mixed in the town centre of Halifax before and after the game.



There was no trouble in or outside the ground at the Cas game. The only arrests made were Cas fans fighting among themselves over a taxi.



I wouldn't dream of taking my kids anywhere where I thought there might be trouble.



I'm sure all Wigan fans will enjoy a very warm welcome from all Flat Cappers, although you might hear some chuntering at the length of the queue for the Pie Hut

To be honest, I doubt they'll live up to your standards, what with you being the centre of the pie universe and all (My Dad's a Wigan lad and he's forever raving about the range and quantity on offer), they're just bog standard Meat and Tatie pies, although the minted mushy peas are rather nice (not for those stood down wind of you).

We had Hog Roast and a BBQ at the Cas game too.

Now I have moved down to Coventry and the better half is a "yawnion" lass from Northampton I don't get to eat mushy peas that often.... Hope that tickets when they go on sale isn't only to season ticket holders who call in person to the ticket office.....
