Certainly won't disagree with that. If he has one possible plus at the moment on some of the other guys in a similar situation it is that he's regularly playing prop, second row or loose forward.

I think he does a fantasic job in giving the squad depth and just adds another element of depth and competition for places. This keeps our superstars on their toes. Another home grown product with a fantastic attitude That gives the squad depth. Chris Tuson doesnt look out of place at super league level and gives us great cover.

Our loss is your gain there. Whilst he was on loan with us he showed more heart than most of the rest of the pack combined, something that's always appreciated by Cas fans.

So just to be clear, Chris Tuson gives the squad depth, right?

| Tuson did a great job on Sunday as did Farrell. They're another 2 fine players we're bringing through and both look like they've got superb attitudes aswell as bundles of talent.
The future really does look very bright indeed.

Both look a bit small to me. Not sure we could carry both of them as regular first teamers in the future. We'd have the lightest 2nd row in SL.

Tuson looks like he could do with putting some bulk on but I have no worries at all in size terms over Farrell. The lad looks solid as a rock and will only get bigger. It was taking 2,3 or 4 Cas players to drag him down on Sunday and he looks hugely strong.
We've got some great options in that back row already but in a year or 2 with the development of guys like Joel, Mossop, Farrell, Tuson aswell as the return of Gareth Hock we should have quite some pack. We also won't lack size when you look at guys like Joel, Mossop and Hock.

| I'd be interetsed to see some ht and wt stats on Farrell and Tuson as compared to Hock Mossop Hansen. Wherefore art thou, Bilko?

They're obviously smaller but with differing size comes different attributes and both are only very young. I'm not overly convinced Tuson will go on and become a regular here because the competition is harsh but Farrell I believe will go onto become a regular for Wigan and eventually England. I've kept a close eye on him over the past couple of years and everytime I see him he just looks top draw. He's got a great engine and attitude aswell as good footwork, hands and decent pace.

| Not sure I believe these but this is from the club site
Hansen 1.86m 101Kg
Tomkins 1.9 95
Mossop 1.85 103
Farrell 1.84 93
Tuson 1.82 92
Overall I think we are in general agreement. Farrell looks like he'll make it but at 14 1/2 stone you wouldn't want any other lighter players in there with him IMO.

They look quite abit out in some areas like the difference in height between Mossop and Farrell aswell as the difference in height between Mossop and Joel Tomkins.
At a guess in old money i'd say height wise-
Joel- 6ft 3/ 6ft 4
Mossop 6ft 3/ 6ft 4
Hansen 6ft/ 6ft 1
Farrell 5ft 11 ish
Tuson 5ft 11 ish
